“Entertaining Angels”
What angels can you entertain?
“Jesus Our Overseer”
Peter refers to Jesus as the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls. This sermon will seek to explore Jesus through each of these titles as we prepare for the New Year ahead and reflect on the year behind.
“Jesus Our Peace”
Christmas is often associated with the term peace. We see it on Christmas cards, sing it in carols, and strive to attain it during the business of the holiday season. This sermon will explore Jesus as our “Prince of Peace” and celebrate the extravagant gift we've received through Him.
“Jesus Our Immanuel”
One of the exciting messages of the Christmas story is that God came near to us through the birth of Jesus. This is evident in the name “Immanuel” (which means “God with us”); a title first ascribed to Jesus by the prophet Isaiah and later declared by an angel of the LORD to Joseph through a dream. This sermon will encourage the listener to draw near to God throughout the Christmas season, trusting that He is ever present and near to those who call upon Him.
“Who You Are In Christ”
Missionary to Mexico, Derek Zahnd, brings a message of thanks to College Heights Baptist Church.
“Bringing Joy To Life”

John 14:1-4 and Revelation 19:6-9
Pastor Curtis Reimer
The apostle John wrote that anyone who says they reside in God must walk as Jesus walked. In this manner He is the pattern for our lives. This sermon will explore common challenges we face in our pursuit of becoming like Jesus, and also examine how we can pattern our lives after Him today.

John 14:1-4 and Revelation 19:6-9
Pastor Curtis Reimer
John 14:1-4 and Revelation 19:6-9
Pastor Curtis Reimer
Jesus taught His disciples that He was going away to prepare a dwelling in which they may live with Him forever. He also promised that one day He would return to earth and take His Bride to the Father's house for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. By examining these texts, and exploring the early Jewish wedding traditions, we'll celebrate our union to Him and consider how we, as His Bride, should faithfully wait.

The term "Lord" is the second most used title to describe Jesus in the New Testament. It's even been said that the creed of the early church was simply this: Jesus is Lord. This sermon will explore what this title reveals about Jesus and examine what it means for Him to be our Lord today.
